Occasionally the mammoth carcass is intact. First, the skin goes to a Russian University for examination. After that, the tusks are collected and sold for their ivory. 

How old is it?


Great question and it’s a debatable answer. So may I give both answers.


Evolutionists believe they died out during the last ice age and that the carcasses are anywhere from 10,000 – 50,000 years old.

Creationists also believe in one ice age that caught these pachyderms off guard but their date of demise is approximately 4,000 years ago.
